Captain America
Captain America มีชื่อจริงว่า สตีฟ รอเจอส์(Steve Roger) เกิดเมื่อวันที่ 4 กรกฎาคม ค.ศ. 1917 โดยมีพ่อแม่เป็นชาวไอร์แลนด์ที่อพยพเข้าเมือง ซึ่งมีชื่อว่าซาร่าห์ กับโจเซฟ รอเจอส์ โจเซฟ รอเจอส์เสียชีวิตลง จากนั้นในภายหลัง ซาร่าห์ก็ได้เสียชีวิตลงด้วยโรคปอดบวมในช่วงที่ สตีฟ รอเจอส์อยู่ในวัยหนุ่ม
ในช่วงต้นยุค 1940 ก่อนที่อเมริกาจะเข้าร่วมสงครามโลกครั้งที่ 2 สตีฟ รอเจอส์ เป็นผู้มีร่างกายผอมบาง เขาเป็นนักเรียนด้านวิจิตรศิลป์ผู้เชี่ยวชาญภาพประกอบ สตีฟ รอเจอส์ได้พยายามที่จะเข้าร่วมเกณฑ์ทหาร แต่ถูกปฏิเสธเนื่องจากร่างกายไม่ถึงเกณฑ์ พลเอกเชสเตอร์ ฟีลิปส์แห่งกองทัพสหรัฐกำลังมองหาผู้มาทดสอบโครงการณ์ลับอยู่พอดี สตีฟ รอเจอส์จึงมีโอกาสที่จะได้รับใช้ประเทศชาติ สตีฟ รอเจอส์จึงได้เข้าร่วมโครงการณ์ Operation: Rebirth ซึ่งได้มีความพยายามในการพัฒนาสร้างทหารซูเปอร์โซลเยอร์ ที่มีความแข็งแกร่งทางด้านร่าง สตีฟ รอเจอส์ต้องเข้าการทดสอบคัดเลือกที่เข้มงวด
เมื่อผ่านการทดสอบเขาก็ได้รับเลือกให้เป็นมนุษย์คนแรกที่ได้รับเซรุ่มเพื่อเป็นซูเปอร์โซลเยอร์ จากนักวิทยาศาสตร์ชื่อ ดร.อับราฮัม เออน์สไคน์ หลังจากที่รอเจอร์ได้รับเซรุ่มร่างกายของเขาก็ใหญ่ขึ้น แข็งแกร่งมากขึ้น มีพละกำลังมากกว่าคนปกติ หลังจากนั้น สตีฟ รอเจอส์ จึงได้เป็นผู้นำในการรบโดยใช้ชื่อว่า Captain America มีโล่ห์เป็นเครื่องป้องกัน โล่ห์ของกัปตันอเมริกานั้นทำจากเหล็กผสม Adamantiumและ Vibranium มีความแข็งแรงสูงมาก
สตีฟ รอเจอส์มีเพื่อนสนิทชื่อบัคกี้ บัคกี้เป็นทหารที่ร่วมรบกับสตีฟมาตลอด ต่อ Captain America และ Bucky พยายามจะหยุดยั้ง Baron Zemo จากการวางระเบิดเครื่องบิน โดย Baron Zemo ได้นำเครื่องบินขึ้นหลังจากติดตั้งระเบิดไว้บนเครื่อง Captain America และ Bucky ได้ขึ้นไปบนเครื่องด้วยขณะที่ Bucky พยายามจะกู้ระเบิด แต่ดันระเบิดขึ้นมาก่อน ทำให้เครื่องบินตก ไม่มีใครพบศพผู้รอดชีวิตทุกคนคิดว่า Captain America และ Bucky ตายไปแล้ว แต่ที่จริงแล้ว Captain America นั้นได้รอดชีวิตแต่ตกลงไปในร่องน้ำแข็งและถูกแช่แข็งอยู่แบบนั้นจนถึงปัจจุบัน ทีม The Avengers ได้พบร่างของ Captain America อยู่ใต้น้ำแข็งที่ North Atlantic เขาถูกปลุกขึ้นมาในยุคปัจจุบัน และเข้าร่วมทีม The Avengers
Winter Soldier
James Buchanan”Bucky” Barnes หรือ Winter Soldier เป็นคู่หูของ Captain Americaในช่วงสงครามโลกครั้งที่ 2 Buckyตอนอายุ16 เป็นเด็กกำพร้าของทหารที่Camp ที่Steve Roger ฝึกอยู่ เขาบังเอิญพบความลับว่าSteve เป็น Captain America
Bucky เป็น Spy ที่กองทัพส่งมาเพื่อทำงานที่ Captain America ไม่ยอมทำ เช่น จารกรรม วางระเบิด หลังจากการประทะกับ Red Skull ส่งผลให้ Captain America ถูกแช่แข็งแล้วทุกคนได้คิดว่า Bucky ได้ตายไปแล้ว เรือดำน้ำรัสเซียได้พบร่างของ Bucky ที่แขนขาดหนี่งแขน และได้ทำการทดลอง ผ่าตัด ใส่แขนเหล็ก และ ล้างสมอง เพื่อใช้เป็นนักฆ่า มีพละกำลังมากกว่าคนปกติ
Bucky ถูกเรียกในชื่อใหม่ว่า Winter Soldier มีร่างกายที่แข็งแกรงและมีแขนซ้ายเป็นเหล็ก หลังจากที่ได้พบกับ Captain America แล้วได้มีการปะทะกันของทั้งคู่ และเมื่อ Bucky ได้ความจำคืนมาต่อมา Steve Rogers เสียชีวิตจากการต่อสู้ และได้มอบให้Winter Soldierเป็น Captain America แทน
Black Widow
Natasha Romanoff หรือ Black Widow เธอเป็นสายลับและนักฆ่าที่เก่งกาจที่สุดคนหนึ่ง แรกเริ่มเธอทำงานให้กับโซเวียต องค์กร KGB ก่อนที่จะเข้าร่วมหน่วย S.H.I.E.L.D. ในตอนเด็ก เธอเป็นเด็กกำพร้าได้รับการฝึกสอนใน Red Room เพื่อการเป็นสปายและนักฆ่า โดยเธอผ่านการฝึกที่แสนจะทรมานและเข้มงวด โดยการฝึกภูมิความรู้ในการเป็นสายลับ ความอดทน การลอบสังหาร จนสภาพแวดล้อมของเธอมีแต่การฆ่าและการเป็นสายลับสืบสวน ด้วยความที่เธอเป็นตัวอันตรายและเป็นภัยต่อความมั่นคง องค์กร S.H.I.E.L.D จึงต้องให้เธอเข้ามาเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของทีม AVENGER
นอกจากความสามารถในการสืบสวนเค้นความลับและโจรกรรมข้อมูลแล้ว เธอยังเก่งในศิลปะการต่อสู้ทุกแขนง เช่น ยูโด, คาราเต้, ไอคิโด้, กังฟู และอื่นๆอีกมากมาย มีความรวดเร็วและความคล่องตัวในการต่อสู้และสังหารศัตรู มีความสามารถในการใช้ปืนอย่างแม่นยำ สามารถสื่อสารได้หลายภาษา อาวุธทั้งหลายของแบล็ค วิโดว์ถูกออกแบบมาเพื่อให้เธอสามารถเคลื่อนไหวได้รวดเร็วและคล่องตัวในการฆ่าศัตรู ไม่ว่าจะเป็น Black Widow’s Bite กำไลข้อมือไฟฟ้า และ Black Widow’s Bartons อุปกรณ์ช็อตไฟฟ้าใส่ศัตรู ปืนกระบอกสั้นไว้สังหารเป้าหมาย ปกติยูนิฟอร์มของเธอจะมาในชุดสีดำหรือเทาไว้อำพรางตัว มือและเท้าจะมีอนุภาคขนาดจิ๋วไว้สามารถปีนป่ายผนังได้
Black Panther
Black Panther มีชื่อจริงว่า T’Challa เขาเป็นลูกของ T’Chaka กษัตริย์แห่งประเทศวากันดา ทวีปแอฟริกา แม่ของเขา N’Yami ตายภายหลังการเกิดของแพนเทอร์ T’Challa ได้มีโอกาสไปเรียนในประเทศอเมริกาและยุโรป มหาวิทยาลัย Oxford จนได้ปริญญาเอกในสาขาฟิสิกส์
ภายหลังกลับมาที่ประเทศวากันด้า T’Challa ต้องมารับตำแหน่งกษัตริย์ต่อจากพ่อของเขา ก่อนที่เข้ารับตำแหน่งกษัตริย์หรือราชานั้น T’Challa ต้องผ่านการฝึกการต่อสู้ต่างๆมากมายและต้องเอาชนะผู้ท้าชิงทั้งหมดรวมไปถึงลุงของเขาที่เป็นกษัตริย์ต่อจากพ่อของT’Challa เพื่อที่จะได้เป็น Black Panther จนสามารถเอาชนะได้ T’Challa ยังได้ถูกส่งให้ไปหาสมุนไพรรูปหัวใจ T’Challa ได้กินสมุนไพรรูปหัวใจเข้าไปทำให้ประสาทสัมผัสทั้ง5ดีขึ้น ทำให้เขามีพลังเหนือมนุษย์
หลังจากนั้น Black Panther ก็ได้เข้าร่วมทีม Avengers ความสามารถของ Black Panther นั้นนอกจากชุดสูทที่ทำจากไวเบรเนียมแล้ว Black Pantherยังมีพลังเหนือกจากมนุษย์ในทุกๆด้าน ไม่ว่าจะเป็นประสาทสัมผัส พลัง การฟื้นฟูร่างกาย การป้องการ การโจมตี ความคล่องตัวและรวดเร็ว T’Challa มีความฉลาด เป็นนักประดิษฐ์ รอบรู้อาวุธทุกชนิด จอมวางแผน และมีความเป็นนักล่า
War Machine
War Machine มีชื่อจริงว่า เจมส์ รูเพิร์ท โร้ดส์ เป็นเพื่อนกับโทนี่ สตาร์ค เดิมทีเจมส์เป็นทหารเรือในกองทัพสหรัฐมาก่อน ภายหลังได้เป็นวิศวะการบิน วันหนึ่งเฮลิคอปเตอร์ของเจมส์ได้โดนฝ่ายศัตรูยิงตก เจมส์ได้พบกับโทนี่สตาร์คได้มาช่วยไว้และได้อาศัยเฮลิคอปเตอร์กลับจนรอดปลอดภัยทั้งคู่
โทนี่ได้ชักชวนเจมส์มาเป็นพนักงานของบริษัท และเป็นนักบินประจำ เจมส์เป็นเพื่อนสนิทของโทนี่ สตาร์ค ตอนที่โทนี่ สตาร์คประสบปัญหาติดเหล้า เจมส์ได้มาเป็น IRON MAN แทนที่รวมไปถึงบริหารงานในบริษัทแทนอยู่พักหนึ่ง ก่อนที่ในภายหลังจะแยกตัวไปเป็นฮีโร่ในชื่อ War Machine มีลักษณะรูปร่างทุกอย่างเหมือน IRON MAN เพียงแต่ติดอาวุธหนักในการโจมตีและมีสีดำขาว
ความสามารถของ War Machine
จะเน้นไปที่เกราะ และอาวุธหนักเป็นส่วนใหญ่ บินได้
มีเกราะเพิ่มพลังการโจมตีและป้องกัน
มี Repulsors ลำแสงในการโจมตี Unibeam ลำแสงขนาดใหญ่
มีปืนเล็ก และ แมชชีนกันสลับในการโจมตี มี Rocket Launcher ในการโจมตีหนัก เป็นนักวางแผน นักบิน
มีทักษะการต่อสู้ที่ดี
IRON MAN
Antony Edward “Tony” Stark หรือ Tony Stark มหาเศรษฐี อัจฉริยะ เพลย์บอย นักวิทยาศาสตร์, วิศวกร, นักธุรกิจ พ่อค้าอาวุธสงครามที่ออกแบบอาวุธให้กองทัพสหรัฐใช้ต่อสู้กับพวกกองโจรเวียตกง
เดินทางไปสมรภูมิรบ เขาตกเป็นเหยื่อกับระเบิดและมีสะเก็ดระเบิดฝังใกล้หัวใจและถูกหัวหน้ากองโจร วอง-ชู จับตัวไป บังคับให้สตาร์คสร้างอาวุธจรวดให้แล้วจะรักษาสตาร์คให้ แต่สตาร์คกับยินเซนผู้ที่ถูกขังอยู่ร่วมกับสตาร์ค ร่วมมือกันสร้างชุดเกราะเพื่อช่วยยืดอายุสตาร์ค และหลบหนี แต่ยินเซนต้องเสียชีวิตเพื่อถ่วงเวลาให้สตาร์คชาร์จพลังงานชุดเกราะ สตาร์ครู้สึกแค้น เขาจึงทำลายฐานทัพของวอง-ชูจนหมดสิ้นและหนีกลับสหรัฐ แต่เขาต้องใส่เกราะตลอดเพื่อป้องกันสะเก็ดระเบิดในร่างกายไม่ให้เข้าถึงหัวใจ โทนี่ต้องชาร์จพลังงานชุดเกราะตลอดเวลา ถ้าชุดพลังงานหมดเขาจะเสียชีวิตได้
เขาได้ปรับปรุงและเปลี่ยนแปลงเกราะ พัฒนาให้มันเก็บใส่กระเป๋าได้ และติดตั้งอาวุธที่ชุดเกราะ
สตาร์คได้ไปร่วมทีมกับ The Avengers และได้ปรับปรุงชุดเกราะให้ทันสมัยขึ้น บินด้วยความเร็วในระดับซูเปอร์โซนิค อาวุธลำแสงรีพัลเซอร์ มิสไซล์
Ant-Man
Scott Edward Harris Lang หรือ Scott Lang สก็อตต์ แลงค์ เกิดที่เมืองโครอล เกเบิลส์ ฟลอริด้า ประเทศสหรัฐอเมริกา เป็นวิศวกรรมไฟฟ้าในบริษัท Vistacorp และกลับถูกไล่ออกเนื่องจากไปล่วงรู้ว่าทางบริษัทกำลังชาร์จเงินกับลูกค้ามากเกิน สก็อตต์บุกเข้าไปที่ Vistacorp เพื่อแฮคระบบและขโมยเงินที่ Vistacorp ขโมยจากลูกค้าไปและบุกไปยังที่พักของ จีออฟ โวริค บอสเก่าของเขา ขโมยเครื่องเพชรและเครื่องประดับออกมาด้วย
ในขณะที่ สก็อตและ มาร์กาเร็ต ภรรยาของเขาต้องหาเงินเพื่อมารักษา แคสซี่ แลงค์ ลูกสาวตัวน้อยที่ป่วยเป็นโรคหัวใจ การบุกเข้าไปในครั้งนั้นทำให้สก็อตต์ต้องถูกจับติดคุกเป็นนานถึง 5 ปี
ระหว่างที่เขาจำคุก สก็อตต์และแม๊คกี้ก็หย่ากัน และสก็อตต์ได้ถูกว่าจ้างจากแฮงค์ พิม ให้บุกเข้าไปขโมยชุด Ant-Man คืนจากดาเรน ครอส
และจากการช่วยเหลือของแฮงค์ พิมสก็อตต์ได้พ้นโทษออกจากคุกได้เร็วกว่ากำหนดถึง 2 ปี หลังจากนั้นแฮงค์ พิม ได้ให้สก็อตต์สวยชุด Ant-Man และเข้าร่วมทีม The Avengers
Ant-Man มีความว่องไวในการปีนป่าย ย่อส่วนตัวเองได้ ทำให้มีพละกำลังแข็งแกร่งเหนือมนุษย์ และสื่อสารกับแมลงได้
Scarlet Witch
ชื่อจริง Wanda Maximoff เป็นลูกของ Magneto และ Magda Lehnsherr
Wanda มีพี่น้องฝาแฝดคือ Pietro Maximoff (Quicksilver) ทั้ง 2 คน มี พลังที่แตกต่างกัน
Magneto ได้พาทั้งคู่เข้ากลุ่ม Brotherhood of Evil Mutants ของตนและได้มีการ ปฏิบัติภารกิจ เข้าต่อสู้กับ X-Men ซึ่ง Wanda รู้สึกเสียใจและอยากออกจากกลุ่ม จนในที่สุด เมื่อ Magneto ถูก Stranger จับตัวไป Wanda และ Pietro จึงได้ออกจากกลุ่ม Brotherhood of Evil Mutants ทั้งสองตั้งใจจะแก้ตัวจากความผิดพลาดในอดีต จึงไปเข้ากลุ่ม Avengers ภายใต้การนำของ Captain America
Scarlet Witch สามารถสะกดจิตและควบคุมจิตใจได้ ใช้พลังควบคุมร่ายกาย และเปลี่ยนแปลงความเป็นจริงได้
Falcon
Sam Wilson หรือ Falcon มาจาก ฮาเลม นิวยอร์ค ซึ่งเขานั้นเลี้ยงเหยี่ยวไว้หนึ่งตัว และฝึกมันจนเขานั้นสามารถสื่อสารกับมันได้เหมือนกับการคุยกับมนุษย์ด้วยกันเอง เหยี่ยวของเขานั้นชื่อ Redwing
มีอยู่วันหนึ่ง เขานั้นรับงาน โดยงานที่เขารับมานั้นคือ การใช้เหยี่ยวไปล่าสัตว์บนเกาะแห่งหนึ่ง และเมื่อเขามาถึงเกาะนั้น ปรากฏว่า คนที่จ้างเขานั้นคือ Red Skull โดยมีจุดมุ่งหมายในการที่จะใช้คนในเกาะเป็นทาส ทำไมให้ Sam นั้นหนีออกมาและ เขานั้นได้เป็นแกนนำ ชาวเกาะเพื่อที่จะต่อสู้กับ Red Skull โดยการฝึกฝนชาวเกาะให้ต่อสู้ได้ โดยมี Steve Rogers ให้ความช่วยเหลือ โดย Steve นั้นให้ Sam ได้สร้างชุดฮีโร่ขึ้น เพื่อใช้ให้มันเป็นแรงบรรดาลใจให้ชาวเกาะ ซึ่งชุดของเขานั้นเป็นชุดสีแดงมีปีกบินได้ และใช้ชื่อว่า Falcon และในที่สุด Falcon และ Captain America ก็ได้ช่วยชาวเกาะให้เป็นอิสระได้สำเร็จ
ด้วยปีก Vibranuim ที่ Black Panther เป็นคนทำชุดให้ ซึ่งชุดนี้กันกระสุนได้ด้วย Falcon สามารถสื่อสารกับนกได้ มีศิลปะการต่อสู้ที่ถูกฝึกโดย Captain America ทำให้เขา เป็นนักสู้ที่มีความสามารถ
Crossbones
Crossbones หรือBrock Rumlow อดีตเจ้าหน้าที่พิเศษหน่วย S.H.I.E.L.D มีทักษะในการต่อสู้สูง ความสามารถของ Crossbones เริ่มแรกไม่ได้มีความสามารถพิเศษ แต่ผลกระทบจาก Terrigenesis (คลื่นรังสีที่เกิดจากการระเบิดของคริสตัล Terringen) ทำให้ร่างกายของเขามีอัตราการเผาผลาญของเมตะบอลิซึ่มสูงจนสามารถสร้างความร้อนสูงและสามารถยิงออกมาเป็นลำแสงได้
และด้วยความที่เขาเป็นเจ้าหน้าที่พิเศษของหน่วย S.H.I.E.L.D ทำให้ Crossbones มีทักษะในการวางแผน,การต่อสู้สูง แม้จะสู้ด้วยมือเปล่า ก็ถือว่าเป็นศัตรูที่สู้ด้วยยากคนอาวุธที่เขาใช้มีปืน มีดขว้างอาบยาพิษ และหน้าไม้ที่ติดอยู่ที่ข้อมือ
Agent 13
Sharon Carter หรือ Agent 13 หลานสาวของ Peggy Carter แฟนสาวของ Steve Roger เมื่อสงครมโลกครั้งที่ 2
Agent 13 เป็นเจ้าหน้าที่หน่วย S.H.I.E.L.D ที่ปลอมตัวมาคอยช่วยเหลือ Captain Amerca เมื่อพบกันครั้งแรกSteveได้สังเกตุว่าเธอเหมือน Peggy แต่ไม่รู้ความจริงจนหลังจากที่SteveและSharonได้ตกหลุมรักกัน ทั้งสองคนได้คบและเลิกกันหลายครั้ง
